EDUCATION MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE

Students aged 16 to 19 who meet the criteria can now apply for the 2024–25 Education Maintenance Allowance and get a weekly payment of £30.

If you will be in full-time education and the people you live with have a low income and meet the criteria, you will be entitled to receive the weekly allowance and should claim it. You can apply for the allowance and check the criteria on Renfrewshire Council’s website.
